From Obamacare, to record-setting debt, to racially divisive rhetoric, our President has certainly been true to his word: America has been (and continues to be) “transformed”. 

The method through which his Administration is primarily accomplishing this metamorphosis is words, or rather, by changing the meaning/use of words: 

How the Government *protects* our Tax money: “Spend it or Lose it!!!”

From the group Bankrupting America comes one of the better satire videos in recent memory. A tremendous send-up of NBC’s ‘The Office‘, they’ve re-imagined it as a “normal” Federal Government agency: the “Department of Every Bureaucratic Transaction”, or D.E.B.T..

After you watch the clip below, make sure you stop over at their website. It covers the everyday waste going on in all areas of our government, and how irresponsible behavior is consistently rewarded. It’s chockablock with other videos, graphics and articles, so take your time looking around.

***NOTE: This video currently has about 10,000 views on YouTube right now. From what I’ve seen, your average cat video can get 30,000. A subject THIS important needs to generate waaay more than that.

Our President wants us to know one thing: we can never, ever, ever reduce Government spending, in any way. We simply can’t.

The New York Times Calls (again) for Higher Taxes on Middle-Class Americans

A solid post highlighting one of the MSM’s most ubiquitous narratives:

“there’s nothing wrong with our country that Taxing-The-Rich can’t cure”.

All statists want much bigger government, but not all of them are honest about how to finance a Greek-sized welfare state.

The President, for instance, wants us to believe that the rich are some sort of fiscal pinata, capable of generating endless amounts of tax revenue.

Using IRS tax data, I’ve shown that this is a very inaccurate assumption. And I’ve also used IRS data to show the President that there are big Laffer-Curve effects when you try to rape and pillage high-income Americans.

Heck, even the Europeans have realized that you can only squeeze so much blood from that stone.

Notwithstanding the misleading rhetoric from the Obama Administration, there are some honest folks on the left who understand and acknowledge that you can’t have bigger government unless you put ordinary people on the chopping block.

The Socialist-in-Chief made it clear that he fully intends to continue raising taxes:

“There is no doubt we need additional revenue, coupled with smart spending reductions, in order to bring down our deficit. And we can do it in a gradual way so it doesn’t have a huge impact.

As I said, when you look at some of these deductions that certain folks are able to take advantage of, the average person can’t take advantage of them. The average person doesn’t have access to Cayman Island accounts, the average person doesn’t have access to carried interest income where they end up paying a much lower rate on billions of…

It appears that President Obama is committed to taking our country over the Fiscal Cliff. We’ve covered what the fiscal cliff IS already, so I won’t rehash it here. Instead I wish to simply review, again, the inherent problems with the President’s proposal.

First of all, here’s what it looks like:

Obama and the militant Left want to punish the wealthiest Americans by making them pay the ultimate nebulous amount: “their fair share”. However, such a combination of new taxes & add’l spending will result in that “fairness” costing our economy $1.61 TRILLION.
