The #NRA’s Colion Noir: Gun Rights are for EVERYONE… (video)

Another video filled with common sense courtesy of the NRA’s charismatic spokesman, Colion Noir.

When one side of the political aisle seems to be so stridently ANTI-gun, it’s easy to see how this Balkanizing over 2nd Amendment pros-&-cons happened in the first place. But it’s critical for us all to keep in mind that not a single Amendment was written by Conservatives for Conservatives, or by Liberals for Liberals.

They were penned by Americans, for Americans.

And thank God for that:

She’s back: Senator Di-Fi wants to ban guns that merely LOOK like military weapons

Here we go again.

In early 2013, Senator Dianne Feinstein was at the forefront of an effort to institute a government ban on more than 150 types of firearms, including rifles, pistols and shotguns. Thankfully, that legislation was shot down (…pun very much intended…).

But barely a year later she’s back, and singing the same ol’ tune:

Gotta hand it to her, though: she may have the approximate mental acuity of a cabbage leaf, but she certainly knows how to appeal to her base:

But yes, the oh-so-tolerant Left was instantaneously outraged:

Anti-gun Zombies continuing their attack on our Schools…

Our schools have long been Leftist training centers, but they’ve recently taken the next step in their overt brainwashing of our children. Time after time, they are reinforcing the precept that all guns are evil, regardless of context or form.

No need to rehash the myriad older examples: every day seems to bring forth new (and worse) ones, which only serve to further prove my point.

‘Liberal Fascism’: why the Left wants to ban, well, …pretty much EVERYTHING

Given so much of our news today, I’m more convinced than ever that Jonah Goldberg’s 2009 book, ‘Liberal Fascism‘, is essential reading in order to understand the workings of the militant Left.

For instance, take a look at this passage from page 23 (italics/bolds/underlinings are mine):

“…since we must have a working definition of fascism, here is mine: Fascism is a religion of the state.

It assumes the organic unity of the body politic and longs for a national leader attuned to the will of the people. It is totalitarian in that it views everything as political and holds that any action by the state is justified to achieve the common good. It takes responsibility for all aspects of life, including our health and well-being, and seeks to impose uniformity of thought and action, whether by force or through regulation and social pressure.

Everything, including the economy and religion, must be aligned with its objectives. Any rival identity is part of the “problem” and therefore defined as the enemy…” 

Now keep that in mind as you review this news report, which eerily illustrates Jonah’s main premise:

The Anti-gun Left vs. the American People and the #2ndAmendment…

The rabid, anti-gun Left has been harping about gun regulation for months now, with activists, Hollywood celebrities and Democrats all screaming their heads off. We even were forced to endure the requisite multi-celebrity PSA, an approach which has become way beyond tiresome at this point.

However, there’s a reason these attempts all failed: they are astoundingly ham-handed and transparent, even to folks who aren’t dedicated defenders of the 2nd Amendment.

Although there are myriad previous examples, we just saw this anew with California Senator Barbara Boxer.

As always with her ilk, she’s purporting to seek “justice” for shooting victims. But just as they did with their anti-war stance when Bush was in office (which mysteriously vanished as soon as their guy took over), this is just another example of the Left using a situation to further their own selfish political goals:

We covered the NRA’s newest spokesman, Colion Noir, a while back. He’s logical, persuasive, and speaks in a commonsense manner on a wide range of gun myths. These myths persist in the media, despite their being disproved, so having someone out there who can consistently and effectively knock them down is essential.

Seriously, bringing someone of his caliber (pun very much intended…) on board was a great move by the NRA.
