The politically incorrect Country Music Awards
I missed the Country Music Awards this week, but if they promise to do another skit like this, I swear I’ll watch NEXT year…
A Heapin' Plate of Conservative Politics & Religion
By Tom Quiner
I’m about to become a country music fan.
Country music stars, Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, lampooned Obamacare in Tuesday night’s Country Music Awards.
In this politically-correct climate in which patriots are smeared as being racist if they disagree with the president, the CMA’s satire was a breath of fresh air.
This is the type of ribbing we’d expect from Hollywood if a Republican was in office. For CMA to take on the Thought Police of the Left bodes well for this country.
Watch and enjoy.
The Sequester does it again: Debbie Wasserman Shultz’s congressional aides can no longer afford food…
You, …yes, YOU…, are a selfish, heartless human being.
Don’t you know there are people in our nation who DESPERATELY need your help? These folks are starving! If an iota of empathy remained in your ice-cold, Conservative, hateful soul, you’d open up your wallet in order to feed those among us who are truly in need, those who are being made to pay for YOUR unwillingness to sacrifice….
… namely, the congressional aides of Democrat Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
From the Washington Examiner:
Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., said Congress has had to reduce constituent services because of the Sequester. “We’re really starting to see the effects of that in our office,” she said.
ANDREW KLAVAN: “O-TV: Game Shows for the Obama Era”
I miss Andrew Klavan’s video versions of “Klavan on the Culture” on PJTV.
He still does the same material today on PJMedia.com, but now only in a column format rather than the clips. I dunno: whether it was his delivery style, his exaggerated exaggerations, or maybe his unusually wide stance…..
Whatever it was, those darn videos never failed to make me laugh.
So, I thought I’d share a recent post from his column that made me laugh…even though it also made me wish I’d written it.

A Progressive Plan to Care for the Useless
Do you like good satire? I do. A friend e-mailed me this the other day and it’s too good not to share. We don’t know who authored it or when it was written. It has Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House so it could have been written in 2009 or 2010, in which case this may not be new to you. But, if you are like me and reading this for the first time, let’s assume it is 2015 and that the Democrats won control of the House in the 2014 mid-term elections. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.
Update: The friend that sent me this delightful satire did some digging and found the original source and we thank her.
From the Truth or Fiction blog we learn:
This is satire from the humorous website The Onion and it was originally written on June 24, 1998.
