Seven “crashed” Hard Drives, #IRS? SEVEN??? Puh-leeeeeease….

I like a good piece of fiction as much as the next guy. But as brilliantly illustrated by ReasonTV’s Remy (below), there’s a limit to ANYONE’s ability to suspend their disbelief, …mine included.

The “Millennials” are coming: Be afraid, …be very afraid

A new national poll of Americans ages 18 to 29 (aka “Millennials”) was completed by The Reason Foundation and the Rupe Foundation, and Nick Gillespie wrote about in the pages of Time. And after reading through all 100+ pages of it, all I can say is:

…we’re doomed.

Because paradoxically, even though this generation is the most educated in our country’s history, far too many of ’em apparently haven’t a clue what they’re talking about.

• The White House continues to stall, …and lie. Especially lie.
• The Democrats are still ridiculing any attempts to get answers.
• And the Press is still largely uninterested …which I can only assume is due to it not reflecting poorly on a Republican Administration.

Before you watch Remy’s brilliant (as usual) remake of the Pharrell Williams hit “Happy”, you might want to check out a couple things first: 

Democrat Senator Feinstein on Gov’t Surveillance: Rules for Me, but Not for Thee

It must be wonderful to live in a world where the rules don’t apply to you, …because you make all the rules.

And it must come as quite a shock when suddenly your rights are being usurped, right along with those of the hoi polloi:

(via Washington Post) – “…Senate Intelligence Committee chair Dianne Feinstein (D, Calif.) made waves Tuesday when she publicly accused the Central Intelligence Agency of spying on Senate computers in an alleged attempt to thwart her committee’s investigation into Bush era interrogation and detention practices. The senator even suggested that the agency had violated the Constitution and federal law.

But while Feinstein is up in arms about the intelligence agency’s search of her staff’s computer system and network, she has been an avid defender of National Security Agency surveillance programs. “It’s called protecting America,” she said shortly after the news broke that the NSA was collecting domestic phone records in bulk...”

NYC’s Charter Schools: Mayor de Blasio putting Politics before Poor Kids (VIDEO)

From Fox News:

“…New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio last week stopped three charter schools from co-locating with district public schools, leaving some children with no option but their district schools.

…

The three charter schools no longer approved for co-locations belong to the Success Academy network, run by Eva Moskowitz, de Blasio’s political rival. In New York City, Success Academy ranks in the top 1 percent for math and top 7 percent for English, according to its website.

Along with Obamacare, “school choice” is one of those areas where folks from both sides of the aisle can come together. Personally, I think there are more of these than initially meets the eye.
