The Many and Varied Experiences of the Amazing #BrianWilliams…

Frankly, we didn’t intend that the first post after our lengthy hiatus would be a humorous one. But last week’s Brian Williams kerfuffle inspired a good friend of ours, and these are simply too good not to share.

The following 16 images are courtesy of the talented-yet-slightly-warped mind of Tom Dowlin, who can be reached at his Facebook page (facebook.com/tom.dowlin) or by email (artezin@comcast.net).

And if you can come up with other ideas for “Where ELSE was Brian Williams?“, …or ANY graphic arts projects…, please feel free to drop him a line.

The President who finds out about EVERY scandal as it breaks in the news, now claims to never watch the news, because “…whatever they’re reporting about, usually I know…”

obama-epic-fail

This is an example of either:

  • blatant, head-shaking stupidity, OR
  • this man’s ego is such that he honestly believes whatever vacuous verbiage spills out of his pie-hole to be unqualified brilliance, despite any/all previous contradictory utterances on his part.

Of course, it COULD be both…

From the Washington Times:

“…In scandal after scandal in the Obama administration, President Obama has said he didn’t know about the problems until he heard it on the news.

But the president changed his tune about his supposed ignorance at a Democratic fundraiser near Seattle on Tuesday night.

Lies about Illegal Immigration, #HobbyLobby, Guns, and… well, pretty much everything

lies_liar_news_627x430

“…Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies…”

(–Fleetwood Mac; 1987)

There has been a recent spate of news this week, and without exception the Statist Left is lying about it.

Completely. Every last stitch of it.

Let’s first consider our president’s recent statements on both illegal immigration and the recent Hobby Lobby ruling. In each case he insists that he’s being ‘compelled’ to act. With Hobby Lobby, it was the Supreme Court’s action which supposedly requires his Executive response. Yet in the case of immigration, he’s supposedly being “forced” into tyrannical, extra-Constitutional motion because of Congress’s inaction.

See how that works? Do something, or do nothing at all; both will elicit the same response from the Left. Just as ‘all roads lead to Rome’, anything that happens (or doesn’t) can be argued BY the State as requiring a response FROM the State. It’s literally an answer in search of a question, and any question will do.

In other words: it’s a lie

Three Reasons Why #Benghazi Matters — (VIDEO)

President Obama Speaks On The Death Of US Ambassador In Libya Christopher Stevens

It’s been almost exactly one year since this video (attached below) was released, and little has changed since then:

  • The White House continues to stall, …and lie. Especially lie.
  • The Democrats are still ridiculing any attempts to get answers.
  • And the Press is still largely uninterested …which I can only assume is due to it not reflecting poorly on a Republican Administration.

What does the Media have to say about that #Benghazi “Molehill” now…?

Cartoonist Eric Allie nailed this back in October of 2012:

Benghazi Molehill - Eric Allie

Just imagine how different things would be today if the Media took even a cursory interest in this story.

You know: like they did with Valerie Plame or Abu Ghraib. Or with Iran-Contra. Or even Justin Bieber.

Is that asking too much?

Sadly, apparently it is:

Why is the Media ignoring the rampant Sexual Abuse in our Public Schools??

help

Here’s a test: just Google “teacher student abuse“. You’ll get millions of classroom statutory rape articles. If you Google “teacher student sex“, you get more… a LOT more.

Like this one:

(via WTSP News) – “…For the first time, we are hearing from the Polk County school district about a Lakeland teacher who, according to police, admitted to having sex with her 17-year-old student. 10 News has learned critical red flags may have been missed with Jennifer Fichter because the Polk County school superintendent said she falsified her employment application….”

Suddenly, throwing a Shoe at someone’s a BAD thing…

Hillary_Clinton_2016

This week we were treated to the best side-by-side comparison ever of how the Media treats highly similar news reports TOTALLY DIFFERENTLY, depending on whether the report is concerning a liberal or a conservative.

***SPOILER ALERT: the results are exactly as you’d expect.

Courtesy of Newsbusters:

On Friday, all three network morning shows fretted over a woman throwing a shoe at Hillary Clinton during a speaking event in Las Vegas. NBC Today co-host Tamron Hall was particularly melodramatic: “I mean, but how scary is that?…Had it hit her, that would have been awful. It would have been awful.”

Weatherman Al Roker added: “Jeez, that’s frightening.”

Hall declared: “It’s hard for me to watch, actually.”

If #Obamacare’s NOT a laughing matter, why is its spokesman such a clown?

Robert - DejaReviewerEarly in Barack Obama’s presidency, I remember seeing a creepy picture someone had photo-shopped to make him look like the Joker from The Dark Knight, portending sinister things to come. Fast-forward five years. I’m afraid they were giving the president way too much credit.

Rather than appearing as some conniving genius mad for power, Obama looks like a fool frantically trying to keep his whole façade of power from crumbling.

Between Barack and a Hard Place

court jesterOur POTUS still doesn’t seem to grasp how image shapes perception, especially in the media. For example, he recently appeared on Zach Galifianakis’ Web comedy show, “Between Two Ferns.”  Galifianakis’ purpose in this show is to get laughs by asking extremely awkward questions and putting his guests in the worst light possible. That’s the joke: everyone gets to look either rude or foolish.

Obama managed to look both.
