HILLARY! – The Poor Little Rich Girl

HILLARY poor-little-rich-girl-111

I’m begging: please, please, please let Hillary run in 2016.

The former Secretary Of State just kicked-off her book tour, but unfortunately (for her) the clip below may turn out to be the most memorable sound bite she’s had since her 2013 mega-hit, “What Difference Does It Make?”:

Suddenly, throwing a Shoe at someone’s a BAD thing…

Hillary_Clinton_2016

This week we were treated to the best side-by-side comparison ever of how the Media treats highly similar news reports TOTALLY DIFFERENTLY, depending on whether the report is concerning a liberal or a conservative.

***SPOILER ALERT: the results are exactly as you’d expect.

Courtesy of Newsbusters:

On Friday, all three network morning shows fretted over a woman throwing a shoe at Hillary Clinton during a speaking event in Las Vegas. NBC Today co-host Tamron Hall was particularly melodramatic: “I mean, but how scary is that?…Had it hit her, that would have been awful. It would have been awful.”

Weatherman Al Roker added: “Jeez, that’s frightening.”

Hall declared: “It’s hard for me to watch, actually.”

FLASHBACK: The Non-inevitability of Queen Hillary

**(UPDATE: November 10th, 2016)**

Was I a Trump fan?   Uhhh, …that’d be No.

Was I vastly happier that Hillary LOST?  Oh, great googily-moogily: Yes, Yes, Yes.

And based on what I’ve read, it looks like this post ended-up being oddly prescient. Of course, I admit that I didn’t count on the whole damn country in essence ‘flipping the bird’ to the entire Political Establishment on BOTH sides, but then again I’ve never maintained to be Nostradamus Jr..

But when ya consider that Hillary lost to the only Republican candidate whom she could have POSSIBLY beaten (and yes, I’m including “Jed!” in there, as well), well, …this was pretty solid.

Huh. Go figure.

Hillary-Clinton 444

Whenever I hear breathless talk of Hillary-in-2016 being a foregone conclusion, I have to admit: I chuckle. Loudly. And no, it’s not because I’m naïvely avoiding reality. Quite the opposite, in fact.

No, any fears I could have from the thought of a Clinton 2.0 presidency is assuaged by common sense: she’s not nearly as popular as the progressive intelligentsia would have us believe.

Two short videos on WHY the #Benghazi, #IRS, and #AP/Fox News scandals matter…

We’ve had so much press recently on the raft of scandals emanating from the White House, it can get overwhelming. And sometimes we need to remind ourselves what’s really at stake here.

It’s not an effort to bring down this presidency. Given the damage that Obama has already caused our nation, I wouldn’t necessarily object to it…, but that’s not the point. Nor is it an effort to hamper Hillary Clinton’s possible viability for a presidential bid in 2016. And it’s not an “anti-government” fatwa by any stretch (I’m talking to you, Rachel Maddow…).

This is all about freedom. OUR freedom.

flag waving

We live (for the time being, at least) in the freest nation on Earth. But if an administration, ANY administration, can conduct secret, illegal campaigns against political enemies, or attempt to silence the press; if they can seemingly ignore cries for help from our fighting men and women, instead of rushing to their aid; if they have the power to strong-arm businesses to “voluntarily” contribute to government “causes”… then we will no longer be the MOST free nation.

We won’t be free at all.

How the Media covers a story: #Benghazi vs. Valerie Plame and Abu Ghraib

benghazi-11The Media has been doing a masterful job of avoiding any-and-all discussions about Benghazi since the day after it happened, and it’s a job they are largely continuing.

However, in the rare instances that Benghazi does get mentioned, the comparison to Watergate is often made. Many on the Right have long made this connection, and just as many on the Left repeatedly call such comparisons ridiculous.

Personally, I think that comparison is imperfect, for a couple of reasons. First, the Press will never allow it to stand, since for many of them Watergate has been elevated to a sacred religious experience, to be celebrated and revered. Thus, they react to its being compared to other scandals in much the same way an Islamist does if you draw a cartoon of Mohammed, …minus the rusty scimitar and poor grooming habits.

Media narrative on #Benghazi: just a story about “Hillary’s chances in 2016…”

shakespeare 1When analyzing the Benghazi hearings, Shakespeare’s famous line from Hamlet“The lady doth protest too much, methinks”, seems to be playing out in front of our eyes.

I’d humbly add my own corollary,  as well: “Methinks the Media doth protest too much, on behalf of the lady…”

That’s because, despite some tremendous revelations as to what actually transpired in Benghazi on 9/11/2012, the Media has decided upon their narrative and are sticking to it with their usual cultish zeal. Below, I’m including two examples of just how the Main Stream Media plans to portray these proceedings, for as long as they’re able.

The Benghazi Talking Points, part 2: (VIDEO)

We normally don’t insist on stuff like this, but today’s the exception: if you didn’t read the previous post on these Benghazi talking points, you really, really need to.

Now.

Why? Basically, this finally answers the question that the Left USED TO ask: “WHAT did the White House know, and WHEN did they know it”?

It turns out that they knew quite a bit, they knew it immediately, …and they’ve been lying to our faces about it from Day One.

President Obama Speaks On The Death Of US Ambassador In Libya Christopher Stevens

This is an important revelation, and all credit goes to The Weekly Standard here. Their report includes far more detail than any video clip can summarize in four minutes, but Fox’s coverage below makes for a great follow-up to The Standard’s findings.
