Hey, you know who’s REALLY to blame for this #VAScandal, don’t you? Don’t you?!?

At this point, the Democrats have transformed the Koch Brothers into some devilish amalgamation of Emmanuel GoldsteinKeyser Söze, and Godzilla.

Which is handy, actually, since they can now be blamed for anything everything.

Han Solo - carbonite - Koch brothers

Why do I mention this? Well, as you’ve no doubt heard by now, VA Secretary Shinseki has (finally) resigned his post. The only surprise about this “entirely political soap opera”  is that the resignation/firing/whatever didn’t happen already (via @Doc_0):

“…Contrary to Obama’s pitiful spin attempts, there is no question that these awful deeds took place at VA clinics.  Reports about those doctored wait lists have been in the hands of top officials since last year.

Endangered Democrats in purple and red states only started yelling for Shinseki’s scalp when they performed a political calculation and realized the public was now fully engaged and furious…”

It’s a horrifying situation highlighting just some of the built-in (and entirely predictable) problems with government-run healthcare. Whether Shinseki was complicit with the problem, or utterly ignorant of it, doesn’t really matter. One is just as bad as the other if you’re the one in charge. Either way, he had to go.

But don’t tell that to Bernie Sanders. No, no, no, he’s got the REAL culprit in all of this nailed dead-to-rights:

The Folly of #Obamacare….

When he was first elected, President Obama could seemingly do no wrong. His speeches were greeted as if he was God’s own herald, and he was showing the path to Heaven.

Now? Not so much.

Luckily for us, we have located his Achilles Heel: Obama himself. Or, to put a finer point on it, Obama’s abnormally outsized ego.

Obama Ego

Remember, this is the guy who informed us that:

“I think that I’m a better speechwriter than my speechwriters,’’ he told campaign aides when he was running for the White House. “I know more about policies on any particular issue than my policy directors. And I’ll tell you right now that . . . I’m a better political director than my political director.’’

A humble man, he ain’t.

Still more “unintended consequences” of Obamacare

Have you noticed the only time we hear about Obamacare any more is when we find something ELSE wrong with it? And even then, we have to go hunting for the story?

Gee, I wonder why…. (Courtesy of WTOP.com):

“Some families to be priced out of health overhaul”

WASHINGTON (AP) – Some families could get priced out of health insurance due to what’s being called a glitch in President Barack Obama’s overhaul law. IRS regulations issued Wednesday failed to fix the problem as liberal backers of the president’s plan had hoped.

As a result, some families that can’t afford the employer coverage that they are offered on the job will not be able to get financial assistance from the government to buy private health insurance on their own. How many people will be affected is unclear.

The Obama administration says its hands were tied by the way Congress wrote the law. Officials said the administration tried to mitigate the impact.

Whoa, whoa, whoa….  Hold on a second, Sparky. What did that say?

The Obama administration says its hands were tied by the way Congress wrote the law“….

Incredible: President “Present” strikes again.

obama-seal-its-not-my-fault

This is a joke, right? C’mon: it was Obama’s ‘Historic Accomplishment’! He championed Obamacare through HIS Democrat controlled House and HIS Democrat Senate without so much as a single Republican vote for it during final passage. He crisscrossed the country in support of it, for a year.

But his “hands were tied”? That’s pathetically spineless, even for Obama.
