Detroit Mom Protects Her Family from Home Invasion, w/ a little help from the 2nd Amendment

This Detroit mother-of-two needs to spend a few hours at the shooting range to improve her accuracy, but all-in-all this goes in the books as a “win”.

Anti-gun Zombies continuing their attack on our Schools…

Our schools have long been Leftist training centers, but they’ve recently taken the next step in their overt brainwashing of our children. Time after time, they are reinforcing the precept that all guns are evil, regardless of context or form.

No need to rehash the myriad older examples: every day seems to bring forth new (and worse) ones, which only serve to further prove my point.

You don’t have to be a ‘Gun Enthusiast’ to perceive the wisdom of the 2nd Amendment

FULL DISCLOSURE: I don’t regularly frequent gun shows. I’m not a gun “enthusiast”. I’m not even a hunter. The thought of going to the gun range doesn’t thrill me, either: I’d much prefer to watch a hockey game or read a book, quite honestly. 

Yet, I am a very strong, active and vocal supporter of our 2nd Amendment rights. Why? For the same reason I’m also a supporter of 1st Amendment rights, and 3rd, and…well, you get the idea.

We each have inalienable rights which are enshrined in our Constitution. These aren’t “Congressional Gifts”, or “Things which our betters have decided to lend to us until further notice”: they’re rights, and they’re ours.

Period.

As a result, I’ve become more defensive than ever of this particular Amendment in the face of a recent, full-out assault on it. There’s been a veritable cavalcade of Gun Control stories in the last few weeks, as the Left attempts to sway the public to their side.

Here’s just a few which we’ve seen this year:

Gun Rights and a Free Society

Remember back when the NFL couldn’t have Rush Limbaugh on TV, or even be a minority owner of a team, because of his “extremist” (read as “non-Leftist”) views and/or the “concern” that HE might say something offensive??

So instead, they let this moron Bob Costas speak.

We saw it after that terrible movie theatre shooting in Colorado back in July, and now we’re seeing it with the tragic murder/suicide involving Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher. Damn logic, damn facts, damn waiting for a little something known as an investigation — we have a tragedy, we have a gun, and now we have yet another opportunity to push an agenda meant to strip Americans of their God-given Second Amendment rights.

Wait a sec: now we shouldn’t have guns that merely LOOK like assault weapons?
