MSNBC finally agrees with Humble Blogger about Hillary’s alleged “popularity”…

Hillary-Clinton 444

Feel free to consider this as just one, long, self-serving “I Told Ya’ So”, …’cause that’s pretty much what it is.

A few months back, I wrote a post called “The Non-inevitability of Queen Hillary“. Some folks openly disagreed with my premise, while others figuratively crossed their fingers and hoped I was right. But few (…none, actually, as I recall…) came out and echoed what I thought was patently obvious: Hillary is quite simply a supremely non-appealing candidate.

“Inevitable”? Not hardly. She may be the most “evitable” candidate, evah…

Whenever you hear the word “Benghazi”, PLEASE keep this Obama quote in mind…

This has been eating at me ever since Obama said it, back in October of 2012.

Obama - 2nd debate

But before you watch it, do me a favor: don’t focus just on WHAT he says here, but also on HOW he says it. He is very deliberate. Haughty. Self-righteous. Barack was “in high dudgeon”, as a relative of mine used to say.

And despite all that, he was also lying through his expensively whitened teeth:

FLASHBACK: The Non-inevitability of Queen Hillary

**(UPDATE: November 10th, 2016)**

Was I a Trump fan?   Uhhh, …that’d be No.

Was I vastly happier that Hillary LOST?  Oh, great googily-moogily: Yes, Yes, Yes.

And based on what I’ve read, it looks like this post ended-up being oddly prescient. Of course, I admit that I didn’t count on the whole damn country in essence ‘flipping the bird’ to the entire Political Establishment on BOTH sides, but then again I’ve never maintained to be Nostradamus Jr..

But when ya consider that Hillary lost to the only Republican candidate whom she could have POSSIBLY beaten (and yes, I’m including “Jed!” in there, as well), well, …this was pretty solid.

Huh. Go figure.

Hillary-Clinton 444

Whenever I hear breathless talk of Hillary-in-2016 being a foregone conclusion, I have to admit: I chuckle. Loudly. And no, it’s not because I’m naïvely avoiding reality. Quite the opposite, in fact.

No, any fears I could have from the thought of a Clinton 2.0 presidency is assuaged by common sense: she’s not nearly as popular as the progressive intelligentsia would have us believe.

Why Christie’s #Bridgegate Press Conference said less about him, and more about the Press itself

C Christie 3373

Let’s get one thing straight here first: I am NOT a Chris Christie fan.

That said, I’ve got nothing against the guy personally. Yeah, I know: he’s a RINO. But c’mon, he’s in New Jersey; of course he’s a RINO. You don’t see Evangelical Christian Teaparty Reagan Conservatives getting elected to run deep blue states, any more than you have Commie Socialist Liberals getting elected to run deep red ones.

Still, the entire Bridgegate controversy has received more media attention than almost anything that’s happened in the Obama Administration, with the possible exception of the Associated Press phone records scandal, and THAT was only because it affected the Press itself.

Bill Whittle – at the David Horowitz dinner

There are few people in the public eye today who articulate the Conservative message as ably & as passionately as Bill Whittle. He says what most of us are thinking, …only much, much better.

This particular speech is the political equivalent of ‘Braveheart‘ and ‘Remember the Titans‘, combined.

Turn up the volume and Enjoy….

What do the election, Benghazi, and the Israel/Hamas war have in common?

—–

ANSWER: culture.

For instance, when you shake your head and wonder how could any rational person think that Israel defending itself is an unprovoked attack, keep in mind that such “thinking” has been stoked, taught and reinforced to much of our society since they were in grade-school. In high-schools & colleges, ‘unpopular thought’ isn’t being discouraged: it’s being systematically stamped out. Our schools are now highly expensive inculcation centers, rather than institutions of higher learning.

The election? The logical result of a Progressive ideology which is pervasive throughout  our society.

Benghazi? Our president has lied, repeatedly, on this entire debacle and still the press doesn’t push for the truth, leaving it to the Wall Street Journal, conservative blogs and Fox News.

‘Obamacare’: even WORSE than predicted, but the fight isn’t over yet

Obamacare: is there ANY word on the recent political landscape more guaranteed to start an argument nowadays?

Most Democrats and virtually all Statists/Progressives swoon at the thought, since it will inevitably choke off the free market, leading to socialized medicine.

Conversely, pretty much everyone else hates even the idea of it.

From Politico:

Forty-nine percent of voters said they think the 2010 law should be either fully or partially repealed, compared with 44 percent who want to see the law remain as-is or see it expanded further“.
