Somehow, a “narrative” of scandal will be a problem in November for …Republicans?

Liberal Media Bias

Occasionally, you almost have to tip your hat to the utter shamelessness of the Left.

Almost.

Recently, NY Republican Michael Rep. Michael Grimm was indicted for tax fraud, and while CNN wondered aloud if this would adversely affect the Repubs in the upcoming election, ABC’s headline said that the GOP was “stuck” with Grimm. Neither report was flattering, yet neither was all that awful, either.

However, appearing on MSNBC, the Washington Post‘s Dana Milbank took both lines of thinking somewhat …further:

“…But even beyond his seat, you now have the Congressman who’s out because he bought cocaine. Here in Washington, you’ve got the kissing Congressman. You’ve got this now. It begins to develop a sort of narrative that may make it trouble for some of his Republican colleagues

CNN whines about Fox’s imbalanced coverage, …then rants about #Bridgegate and Christie

cnn 3

I watch CNN only occasionally, but had to laugh this weekend over a pair of segments they aired on Sunday. It was a classic example of unintentional irony, courtesy of our Media ‘betters’.

Brian Stelter has been a CNN host since late last year, having previously worked as a New York Times media reporter. But he’s apparently brought quite a bit of that paper’s famous “perspective” with him to his current gig.

Check out this initial news segment where Stelter finds fault with how Fox News covers the President these days. The essential part is roughly the first 5 minutes, until they start discussing Piers Morgan:

The Science has been “settled” BEFORE, too…

In light of a recent statement from CNN (which simply echoes the president and others), this seems quite appropriate.

#Obamacare, the Media, and Lying about Lying

33-jaws-obamacare

You may have heard that the CBO (Congressional Budget Office) recently released a disastrous report which detailed that Obamacare was likely to result in 2.3 million fewer jobs.

But as fast as that news came out, the Democrats and their Media shills issued a counter narrative: “No, that’s not true! It’s not that Obamacare will kill jobs! It’s only that people will choose not to work (or work as much) so as to qualify for health care subsidies, and THAT means that there’ll be the equivalent of 2.3 million fewer people working.

See? It just kills employment, not jobs, which is TOTALLY different! Sorta…”

Of course, the casual news gatherer (which is way more than half the population) never heard the second half of that argument. They heard “No, that’s not true…”, and the rest faded into Miss Othmar’s voice from the Charlie Brown cartoons. No matter, they got the gist: those Republicans have obviously lied once again about King Barack the Beneficent and his glorious Health Care Machine. The details as to exactly if, how or why they lied are probably unimportant, anyway.

Except that they’re not.

Obama’s cheerleaders give their impartial opinion of the #SOTU Address:

press hearts obama

If you’ve read my full rundown of this year’s State Of The Union address, then you already know my opinion of it, and why. But according to the following video clip (below), I must have been watching a different guy, giving a different speech, on a different channel.

‘Cause if we are talking about the same speech, I forced myself through that snooze-fest twice, and have NO idea what they’re talking about…

#NAACP: we support everyone’s right to their own opinion, …as long as it agrees with ours

naacp_logo

I wrote the following almost a year ago:

“…The party of inclusion, of diversity, of recognizing and respecting differences…  consistently holds up as holy writ that if you do not accept your ‘appropriate’, preassigned belief of the liberal Democrat hive-mind, then you are no longer deserving to be recognized or respected for your differences.

By Refusing to be the Same, you are no longer considered Diverse…”

And God Bless ’em if they don’t keep on proving me right.

OUT: “Obama’s Poll Numbers are great!” – IN: “Ummm, let’s not discuss his Poll Numbers, okay?”

Remember those glorious, halcyon days when Barack first ruled the land? Back when his fans were (literally) fainting at his speeches, and his trouser creases informed us how magnificent he’d be?

When the seas began to recede, and we were the ones we were waiting for? When everyone looked forward to waking up to find free gas in their car and a unicorn in every pot, all courtesy of the Obamessiah?

During all that time, the President’s Poll Numbers were regularly trotted-out to defend his policies. “Well“, the logic went, “he must be doing the will of the people. Just look at how POPULAR his POLL NUMBERS are…!

Ahhh, good times.

But now, the same folks who’ve so slavishly been reporting his popularity have radically changed course, and would like the media to put the kibosh on reporting poll results:

PRICELESS: The Left’s ridiculous #Obamacare spin is blowing-up in their face

The lie that Liberals are telling themselves these days:

All Is Well

Lefty spinners have been out in force this week, trying to not only put some lipstick on the Obamacare pig, but a cocktail dress, earrings and pumps, as well.

However, it seems to be having the opposite effect, which makes perfect sense. After all, you can argue ’til you’re as blue-in-the-face as a Smurf, and folks’ll still figure out that paying hundreds or thousands more each year for insurance is NOT the same as “If you like your healthcare plan, you can keep your healthcare plan…“.
