Whenever you hear the word “Benghazi”, PLEASE keep this Obama quote in mind…

This has been eating at me ever since Obama said it, back in October of 2012.

Obama - 2nd debate

But before you watch it, do me a favor: don’t focus just on WHAT he says here, but also on HOW he says it. He is very deliberate. Haughty. Self-righteous. Barack was “in high dudgeon”, as a relative of mine used to say.

And despite all that, he was also lying through his expensively whitened teeth:

How the Media covers a story: #Benghazi vs. Valerie Plame and Abu Ghraib

benghazi-11The Media has been doing a masterful job of avoiding any-and-all discussions about Benghazi since the day after it happened, and it’s a job they are largely continuing.

However, in the rare instances that Benghazi does get mentioned, the comparison to Watergate is often made. Many on the Right have long made this connection, and just as many on the Left repeatedly call such comparisons ridiculous.

Personally, I think that comparison is imperfect, for a couple of reasons. First, the Press will never allow it to stand, since for many of them Watergate has been elevated to a sacred religious experience, to be celebrated and revered. Thus, they react to its being compared to other scandals in much the same way an Islamist does if you draw a cartoon of Mohammed, …minus the rusty scimitar and poor grooming habits.

Media narrative on #Benghazi: just a story about “Hillary’s chances in 2016…”

shakespeare 1When analyzing the Benghazi hearings, Shakespeare’s famous line from Hamlet“The lady doth protest too much, methinks”, seems to be playing out in front of our eyes.

I’d humbly add my own corollary,  as well: “Methinks the Media doth protest too much, on behalf of the lady…”

That’s because, despite some tremendous revelations as to what actually transpired in Benghazi on 9/11/2012, the Media has decided upon their narrative and are sticking to it with their usual cultish zeal. Below, I’m including two examples of just how the Main Stream Media plans to portray these proceedings, for as long as they’re able.

The Benghazi Talking Points, part 2: (VIDEO)

We normally don’t insist on stuff like this, but today’s the exception: if you didn’t read the previous post on these Benghazi talking points, you really, really need to.

Now.

Why? Basically, this finally answers the question that the Left USED TO ask: “WHAT did the White House know, and WHEN did they know it”?

It turns out that they knew quite a bit, they knew it immediately, …and they’ve been lying to our faces about it from Day One.

President Obama Speaks On The Death Of US Ambassador In Libya Christopher Stevens

This is an important revelation, and all credit goes to The Weekly Standard here. Their report includes far more detail than any video clip can summarize in four minutes, but Fox’s coverage below makes for a great follow-up to The Standard’s findings.

White House talking points on Benghazi show what we suspected all along: They Lied…..

As I said just days ago:

“…And when (Obama) stands in front of the American people and offers the most amateurish of fibs, you know that it’s now not a matter of IF this is all going to come out, but merely WHEN.”

And here we go:

(From The Weekly Standard) – … The CIA’s Office of Terrorism Analysis prepared the first draft of a response to the congressman, which was distributed internally for comment at 11:15 a.m. on Friday, September 14 (Version 1 at right). This initial CIA draft included the assertion that the U.S. government “know[s] that Islamic extremists with ties to al Qaeda participated in the attack.”

Benghazi

(…)

The agency draft also raised the prospect that the facilities had been the subject of jihadist surveillance and offered a reminder that in the previous six months there had been “at least five other attacks against foreign interests in Benghazi by unidentified assailants, including the June attack against the British Ambassador’s convoy.”

The many, many, many things the Obama Administration “just didn’t know”…

This is gonna take a second to illustrate my point, so please bear with me, okay?

best boss coffee mugPretend for a moment that you’re a CEO of a major corporation. You have all sorts of assistants, VPs and lieutenants whose sole job is to keep you informed. Also, since it’s your responsibility (not to mention how you make money), you spend a great deal of time pouring over numbers, charts, spreadsheets, etc…

And most importantly, you talk with your folks.

Obama’s worst lie about Benghazi yet: has NO idea that “anybody’s been blocked from testifying”

My suggestion to the President: if you’re gonna tell an obvious lie, practice in front of a mirror first, …’cause this one doesn’t begin to pass the ‘guffaw’ test:

OBAMA: “…I’m not familiar with this notion that anybody’s been blocked from testifying. So what I’ll do is find out what exactly you’re referring to…”

Okay, a quick poll: everyone who believes that the President of the United States has no idea what this reporter is talking about, say ‘Yay‘…
