“Why #Benghazi Matters” – Bill Whittle

It’s been quite a while since we’ve featured Mr. Whittle here, but hopefully this entry will make amends for our negligence.

Seems that he’s found a new home for his ‘Firewall’ video series, too, and added some snazzy production elements to his normal flawless delivery.

In the clip below, Bill walks us through exactly WHY obtaining the truth about the 2012 Benghazi attacks is so essential to our country: Competence, and Character. Those are the two most important qualities of our elected officials, and they had the primary role in how Benghazi was handled (as they will with the “Benghazis” of the future).

Men or women lacking in either quality are unfit to lead, period. You need look no further than the current Administration for proof of that:

The Left’s never-ending cries of “McCarthyism!!”

The Left’s responses to various stimuli are now so predictable they’re practically Pavlovian:

• You criticize the president or his goals? You’re racist.
• You criticize Hillary? You’re sexist and/or you’re “scared” of “strong women”.
• You object to the way Mozilla’s CEO lost his job? You hate gays.

And if you try to discover the truth about a possible Democrat scandal, you’re accused of “McCarthyism“.

Three Reasons Why #Benghazi Matters — (VIDEO)

It’s been almost exactly one year since this video (attached below) was released, and little has changed since then:

• The White House continues to stall, …and lie. Especially lie.
• The Democrats are still ridiculing any attempts to get answers.
• And the Press is still largely uninterested …which I can only assume is due to it not reflecting poorly on a Republican Administration.

What does the Media have to say about that #Benghazi “Molehill” now…?

Cartoonist Eric Allie nailed this back in October of 2012:

Just imagine how different things would be today if the Media took even a cursory interest in this story.

You know: like they did with Valerie Plame or Abu Ghraib. Or with Iran-Contra. Or even Justin Bieber.

Is that asking too much?

Sadly, apparently it is:

Whenever you hear the word “Benghazi”, PLEASE keep this Obama quote in mind…

This has been eating at me ever since Obama said it, back in October of 2012.

But before you watch it, do me a favor: don’t focus just on WHAT he says here, but also on HOW he says it. He is very deliberate. Haughty. Self-righteous. Barack was “in high dudgeon”, as a relative of mine used to say.

And despite all that, he was also lying through his expensively whitened teeth:

IRS, #Benghazi, and Bridgegate: …Guess which one the Media thinks is the only REAL scandal?

The media has been desperate for months now to take the country’s focus off of President Obama’s policy failures, his floundering economy and the sick joke of Obamacare.

So ever since Christie’s ‘Bridgegate’ story broke last week, the Media has behaved with their usual restraint.

Now allow me to clarify: I have no problem with the press investigating ANY politician for practically ANYTHING. My only issue is with their attempt to simultaneously cast President Obama’s entire panoply of scandals as mere trumped-up nuisances, even as they portray Bridgegate as a modern-day Khmer Rouge.

There were many video clips I could have selected to illustrate this, but the following one is basically representative of what I’ve seen elsewhere:

Perfectly said: “Eric Holder has been a disastrous Attorney General for a REALLY long time…”

A year ago I wrote:

“Holder was the one responsible for the Marc Rich pardons, and it was his Justice Department that dropped the voter intimidation case against the New Black Panther Party back in 2009. Holder also had the bright idea of trying terrorists in criminal court, an idea which thankfully was blown up by Lindsey Graham, of all people. But that isn’t why he needs to go (at least, that’s not all of it).

No, his refusal to adequately explain his knowledge and involvement in Operation ‘Fast and Furious’ is why Holder is guilty of at LEAST contempt, and why it’s long past time for him to leave.”

I was 1000% right then, …and I’m even more right now: Eric Holder deserves to be fired and perp-walked down the steps to a waiting paddy wagon.

Two short videos on WHY the #Benghazi, #IRS, and #AP/Fox News scandals matter…

We’ve had so much press recently on the raft of scandals emanating from the White House, it can get overwhelming. And sometimes we need to remind ourselves what’s really at stake here.

It’s not an effort to bring down this presidency. Given the damage that Obama has already caused our nation, I wouldn’t necessarily object to it…, but that’s not the point. Nor is it an effort to hamper Hillary Clinton’s possible viability for a presidential bid in 2016. And it’s not an “anti-government” fatwa by any stretch (I’m talking to you, Rachel Maddow…).

This is all about freedom. OUR freedom.

We live (for the time being, at least) in the freest nation on Earth. But if an administration, ANY administration, can conduct secret, illegal campaigns against political enemies, or attempt to silence the press; if they can seemingly ignore cries for help from our fighting men and women, instead of rushing to their aid; if they have the power to strong-arm businesses to “voluntarily” contribute to government “causes”… then we will no longer be the MOST free nation.

We won’t be free at all.
