It’s been almost exactly one year since this video (attached below) was released, and little has changed since then:
- The White House continues to stall, …and lie. Especially lie.
- The Democrats are still ridiculing any attempts to get answers.
- And the Press is still largely uninterested …which I can only assume is due to it not reflecting poorly on a Republican Administration.
We’ve made SOME headway in the past year, of course: back then we were pretty sure that the whole “video” excuse was a scam and a lie. A year later, and we now have irrefutable proof.
As a result, there will be a Benghazi select committee which’ll be headed by Trey Gowdy (h/t HotAir). Predictably, Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats are threatening to simply boycott the hearings, and we can guess how that’ll turn out if they do. A Dem boycott will give the Press “cover” to ignore the hearings, and spin the hearings as (what else??) “GOP partisanship”.
Never mind that if roles were reversed, they’d be calling the GOP “partisan” for being the ones to boycott similar proceedings. Guaranteed.
Ultimately, since the MSM doesn’t want to cover it, an excuse is really all they need. Which means that when this is all over, we could easily end up with virtually no coverage other than on Fox News.
And if that happens, we’ll be able to replay this video NEXT year, too, with no significant alterations:

The Dems will be making a HUGE mistake if they boycott the special committee meetings. So, naturally, I hope that they DO, in fact, boycott the meetings. What BETTER way to tell the American people how little they (the Dems) care about getting to the bottom of such inept handling of a situation that both LED to the death of 4 Americans AND, how desperate they were to lie and cover up their ineptness during the election, and in all of this time that has passed since. PLEASE Dems: BOYCOTT!!!
