Congratulations, folks! At least half-a-million of you soon won’t be “stuck in a job” anymore…
Yay, you!!
(via Reuters) – “…Raising the U.S. federal minimum wage to $10.10, as President Barack Obama and Democrats in Congress are proposing, could result in about 500,000 jobs being lost by late 2016, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimated on Tuesday…”
Obama has been promoting this for weeks now, despite the obvious drawbacks to such a strategy. But just in case his economic ignorance has started to sound attractive to you through sheer repetition, allow me to bring you back to reality with a couple of videos that describe its core fallacy (which the CBO has just substantiated again, by the way):

As an additional service, I’ve also summarized the president’s Minimum Wage plan below:
Alternative headline: Obama’s plan to raise #MinimumWage will liberate half-a-million people 😉
Absolutely, Bret.
Why, he’s basically an employment “Freedom Fighter”…
¡Viva el Presidente!
From those same friendly folks who brought you “unemployment compensation stimulates the economy”.
I say we just raise the minimum wage to $100 per hour. THAT will get rid of poverty, etc, right?
What a bunch of buffoons. Just keep spewing the populist rhetoric.
Yes, after five years of Obama’s policies the economy is doing great! Which is why we need to do something so economically stupid to help, because otherwise people will suffer… in this booming economy, or something…
Yeah, that makes sense.
Reblogged this on That Mr. G Guy's Blog and commented:
All I can do is shake my head at the stupidity shown daily by this sorry excuse for a President.
Same here, MrG. I’m incapable of being surprised by this man anymore.
Of course, I realize by saying that I’m practically BEGGING him to do/say something even dumber tomorrow…
Obama says it’s all a lie, and we know he always tells the truth.
Oh, dear:
Looks like the Ministry Of Truth must have taken Lori to “Room 101″…

😉
“…This just in…the White House has issued an executive order making “Opposite Day” apply to every day from now on and retroactive to the beginning of the current administration…more at 6!…”
Hatfield: you need to catch up, dude…
The “Opposite Day” Executive Order is from early 2011.
Where’ve you been???
😉
That applied to every day?
Sorry, I try to avoid repetitive redundancies…
