The politically incorrect Country Music Awards

I missed the Country Music Awards this week, but if they promise to do another skit like this, I swear I’ll watch NEXT year…

A Heapin' Plate of Conservative Politics & Religion

By Tom Quiner

I’m about to become a country music fan.

Country music stars, Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, lampooned Obamacare  in Tuesday night’s Country Music Awards.

In this politically-correct climate in which patriots are smeared as being racist if they disagree with the president, the CMA’s satire was a breath of fresh air.

This is the type of ribbing we’d expect from  Hollywood if a Republican was in office. For CMA to take on the Thought Police of the Left bodes well for this country.

Watch and enjoy.

  1. And the Left is going nuts over it! Classic!

  2. For the most part, country music stars are conservatives. You don’t hear about them much because they know they are entertainers and not political pundits. Of course, you also have your outcasts like the Dixie Chicks and Toby Kieth who are liberals.

Charlie Daniels is very outspoken as a conservative, especially on twitter.

    • Oh, yeah: I’ve followed him ever since I’ve BEEN on Twitter.

I think the irony is that we’re seeing the Left become outraged over this. And yet, every rock star, bubblegum pop queen, Hollywood diva or quasi-celebrity who mumbled a half-hearted “Bush Sucks!!” for eight years was greeted by them as if they were a conquering hero!

This was less than three minutes, and the Left’s hair is on fire about it.

They really, REALLY can’t take being mocked, …which I find funny, in and of itself.

      😀

Charlie Daniels! Another proof that a chubby guy with a beard can’t be all bad!

  4. Saw this. It was so cool!
