PRICELESS: The Left’s ridiculous #Obamacare spin is blowing-up in their face

The lie that Liberals are telling themselves these days:

Lefty spinners have been out in force this week, trying to not only put some lipstick on the Obamacare pig, but a cocktail dress, earrings and pumps, as well.

However, it seems to be having the opposite effect, which makes perfect sense. After all, you can argue ’til you’re as blue-in-the-face as a Smurf, and folks’ll still figure out that paying hundreds or thousands more each year for insurance is NOT the same as “If you like your healthcare plan, you can keep your healthcare plan…“.

But that’s not slowing down President Pinocchio and his lackeys-for-hire. For example, check out the eagerness to flat-out lie, repeatedly, by NJ Rep Frank Pallone. He keeps smugly repeating his White House talking points even after Sebelius’ video is played, which utterly refutes him:

THIS is what we’re up against: truly cretinous individuals who crave power so much that they have zero compunction about telling ANY lie, as they try to convince anyone who’ll listen that up-is-down and black-is-white.

Additionally, the Insurance Industry is being castigated by the Left as the villains here, even as they’re being threatened by the Administration into not defending themselves publicly.

This isn’t a new development, either. Do you remember this “…Nice place ya’ got here; be a shame if sumthin’ happened to it…“ moment from Secretary Sebelius back in 2010?

(via Boston.com) – President Obama’s top health official warned the insurance industry yesterday that the administration will not tolerate blaming premium increases on the new health care law. 

“There will be zero tolerance for this type of misinformation and unjustified rate increases,’’ Kathleen Sebelius, secretary of Health and Human Services, said in a letter to the insurance lobby. 

“Simply stated, we will not stand idly by as insurers blame their premium hikes and increased profits on the requirement that they provide consumers with basic protections,’’ Sebelius said. She warned that bad actors could be excluded from new health insurance markets that will open in 2014 under the law. They would lose out on a big pool of customers, as many as 30 million people nationwide.

The industry is partly to blame here, at least initially. Many (but not all) of the big insurers originally viewed the Affordable Care Act as a boon to their bottom lines, rather than a deal with the devil. However, now the entire industry is in serious danger, as their ability to set reasonable rates for risks is being taken away by the government.

Gee, who could have seen THAT coming??
