Carrie Underwood and Vince Gill: “How Great Thou Art”

Carrie and Vince 2011

After a particularly contentious news cycle this past week, I thought it would be beneficial to bring the focus back onto what’s important in our lives.

What’s truly important.

And I couldn’t come up with a better, or more inspiring, way to illustrate it than this video from 2011.

Please: turn up the volume, close your eyes, and let the Truth bring you peace today….

  2. What a way to wake up this morning, thank you for posting this.
My favorite version of this song is by Elvis, such passion in his singing, gives me chills, or is that thrills, and brings a tear to my eye every time.

  3. If I may…
Carrie and Vince were great. But my mind always goes back to George Bev Shea when I hear this wonderful song.

I was 12 when he sang this.

  4. It wasn’t just rich and the famous crying……..thank you.

  5. What a wonderful way to end my day. Enjoyed all the arrangements of my favorite hymn. God bless.
