Anti-gun Zombies continuing their attack on our Schools…

Our schools have long been Leftist training centers, but they’ve recently taken the next step in their overt brainwashing of our children. Time after time, they are reinforcing the precept that all guns are evil, regardless of context or form.

No need to rehash the myriad older examples: every day seems to bring forth new (and worse) ones, which only serve to further prove my point.

(Courtesy of CBS Los Angeles) – Sophomore Haley Bullwinkle said when she wore her NRA shirt to Canyon High School last month, she landed in the principal’s office for violating the school’s dress code that forbids offensive, violent or divisive clothing.

The shirt, which was a gift from Bullwinkle’s father when he became a card-carrying member of the NRA, features a buck, an American flag and a hunter’s silhouette. It also has the words “National Rifle Association of America: Protecting America’s Traditions Since 1871” written in the center.

In a rational world, this wouldn’t even be an issue. After all, it’s just a t-shirt. But we’re not dealing with rational people: this is now Leftist belief as mass hysteria. Guns, things that “look” like guns, pictures of guns, words that rhyme with guns, and now silk-screened images of guns are to be demagogued and eradicated from existence.

Even better, now how you’re dressed is a potential area of concern:

HARRISON TWP., Mich. – L’Anse Creuse High School was shut down Tuesday morning after a former student, who now works at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, entered the building around 6 a.m.

Security concerns were raised because the man was dressed in camouflage.

Apparently the former student had just left work at the base and went to the school looking for a letter of recommendation. 

This young man wasn’t brandishing, wielding, wearing, or in-possession-of a gun. He wasn’t behaving in a suspicious manner, nor did he give any sort of hint that he intended malice. At all. And yet the POLICE were called in to investigate the “incident”?

Actually, that last part is rather ironic when you look at this next example:

(From Fox News) – A police officer who dropped off his daughter at her Phoenix elementary school was asked by the school’s principal not to wear his uniform to the school because other parents were concerned that he was carrying a gun, MyFoxPhoenix.com reported.

Scott Urkov is a police officer for the Coolidge Police Department. The department told him not to comment to media inquiries, but immediately after he received the no-uniform request, he posted on Facebook: 

“Nothing like your kid’s school calling and asking if I could not come to pick up my daughter in uniform, cause parents were concerned when their kids came home telling them there was a man at school with a gun, “ he posted.

“Are you freaking kidding me?”

Sadly, sir, no: they aren’t kidding.

Heck, one kid in Washington was initially suspended just for discussing guns, …the Nerf® kind. He was six-years-old, and an obvious high-security risk.

The Left has become so convinced of the inherent evil of firearms that anyone, even our police officers, are now to be feared. Why? I might expect reactions like this from some primitive tribe if I walked in with fire (“Agghhh! Bald man has stick that glows!!“), but for buildings filled with allegedly educated persons, such mindlessness is inconceivable.

I will stipulate that NOT all teachers have bought into this thinking, obviously. But it’s a simple fact that only in schools does this occur with such stunning uniformity, resulting in normal and well-adjusted students (and now parents) being made to feel like criminals.

Too many of these overly educated zealots are now little more than anti-gun Zombies, able to comprehend the topic on a barely sentient level (“Guuuuuuns. Baaaaad…”) . That’s why I likened it to a disease of sorts: they’ve been infected by the feverish dreams of the Marxist Left, and the infection is spreading …to our children, and to the public at large.

My advice?? Don’t get bitten.
