How many of us are guilty of this, even just occasionally?
**(Blogger meekly raises his hand)**
Just a little reminder, from one perpetrator to another…

My union a couple of years ago to Mrs. LivinRightInPGH blessed me with 4 adult children and 6 (soon to be 7) grandchildren. Whenever we have a family “gathering” at our place, there is a STRICT no phone, no electronic devices, and no TV policy in place. We gather as a FAMILY to do FAMILY stuff!
I even went as far as when we go out to dinner with any of the kids, I tell them: use your phone at dinner and I WALK.
(which of course means: I AIN’T paying for dinner! LOL!)
Works EVERY time…
Society is losing its ability with personal interaction.
So do they just touch the Blarney Stone now?
What’s the German equivalent of the Blarney Stone?
I don’t know, Pgh. What is it?
Well, I can’t imagine the phrase “touch the schnitzel” being uttered, so I’ll have to work on that one…
Only YOU TWO could get from this post…. to schnitzel, in the space of 5 comments.
***shakes head, sadly***
And yet, SPEAKING of schnitzel…..
I believe the previous world record was 7 posts before “schnitzel” appeared…..
JTR, you KNOW I love the “Hoodwinked” reference,
As do I.
It’s a shame they ruined it with “Hoodwinked 2”, which was a pretty awful piece of dreck.
Ever notice how it seems to take three words in German to equal just one in English?
Zunderholz!
I used to eat a lot of Jaeger Schnitzel mit Champions und Saumaugen when I was in Germany.
Translated…Hunter’s Meat with fried Mushrooms and Sow’s Stomach. 😉
Sounds very cosmopolitan!
