At this point, if every separate Obama Administration scandal was a movie, you’d need to rent out a couple of multiplexes to show them all.
Consider:
- The IRS has been targeting & harassing Conservative groups and individuals,
- The DOJ seized phone records from the Associated Press, with as yet no explanation,
- HHS Secretary Kathleen Sibelius has been shaking down companies and organizations for private donations in order to help implement Obamacare, …and courtesy of Allahpundit:
- The EPA has been granting Freedom Of Information Act fee waivers to left-wing groups (who are usually sympathetic to a more powerful EPA), but systematically denies such waivers for Conservative groups.
And that’s just the CURRENT ones.
I’m actually in scandal overload. In U.S. history, I personally can’t recall such an overwhelming display of blatant corruption and abuse of power since possibly Louisiana Governor Huey Long in the 1930s. By comparison, Watergate and Teapot Dome don’t even come close, in scale or breadth.
Taken in conjunction with Benghazi, the New Black Panthers’ voter intimidation case, the stonewalling over Fast-and-Furious, his administration’s attack on Religious Freedom with Obamacare’s contraception mandate, deliberately gearing the Sequester to impact the American People in the most painful ways possible, Homeland Security’s release of hundreds of illegal alien detainees, and…arrrggghhhh…..!!,
……..my brain hurts; make it stop!
Ultimately, all of this means that the very worst assumptions and fears that Conservatives have had for the past four years were not only true, they weren’t even close to being true enough. This administration has managed to set a new, inglorious precedent in modern politics: it’s a Scandal-rama, on steroids, … turned up to eleven.
And what of our Prevaricator-In-Chief? Speaking at a fundraiser the other night, Obama did take the opportunity to address the recent “difficulties” he’d experienced.
He blames (who else?) his political opposition:
“What’s blocking us right now is a sort of hyper-partisanship in Washington that I was, frankly, hoping to overcome in 2008”.
(…)
“…I genuinely believe there are Republicans out there who would like to work with us but they’re fearful of their base and they’re concerned about what Rush Limbaugh might say about them.”
“As a consequence we get the kind of gridlock that makes people cynical about government,” he told donors. “My intentions over the next 3 ½ years are to govern. … If there are folks who are more interested in winning elections than they are thinking about the next generation, then I want to make sure there are consequences to that.”
Wait a sec: the Republicans’ unwillingness to go along with every whim of this rolling disaster is at fault here? Good grief, that’s basically like the wife-beater who maintains that “…if she just did what I told her, I wouldn’t NEED to hit her so much…”.
I can’t even make fun of this, because there’s nothing funny about it.
This man has, by his own hand, brought about the climate which exists in our nation: a climate of resentment, confusion, and of justifiable paranoia.

The American People twice voted in a smooth-talking fraud, a charlatan, and a Chicago-esque thug. They were taken in and lied to. They disregarded those of us on the Right, as we warned of the obvious dangers inherent with his election. But despite those warnings, they bought the ‘Hope’ hype, and we’re all reaping the fruits of their willful naïveté.
Oh, how I wish that this was just a movie at the local multiplex.
At least that way, we could all get up and demand our money back.
Pingbacking this one on my newest post, thanks JTR!
Yep, heads are spinning from the scandal palooza … however, I am REJOICING!! Let it ALL COME OUT, let the truth be known and let those who have eyes and ears come to it’s knowledge!! WOOOHOOOO!
😀
Honored as ever, Teach!
I’m dizzy from the rapid-fire nature of this Administration’s sleazy revelations.
If they’d just limit themselves to one or two horrific practices per week, I’d certainly be quite appreciative….

It’s ironic that the MSM who has shielded, covered up for, and outright lied on behalf of, Obama, is now “up in arms” over the AP incident. Perhaps they shared Obama’s narcissistic tendency of “nothing really happens until it’s happened to US”. SUDDENLY, THEY are concerned about an overreaching government. Classic.
First it was all Bush’s fault.
Then it was Republicans.
Then “House” Republicans.
Now, it’s Rush Limbaugh.
Can Jesus be far from Obama’s blame?
Despot: A ruler or other person who holds absolute power, typically exercising it cruelly.
The worst injustice the Press can possibly imagine is one committed against THEM.
In a battle of narcissism, Obama and his adoring Media are TIED…..
It reminds me of one of those Ron Popeil infomercials….But wait! There’s more! If you buy this lie within the next ten minutes you get this other lie for free (just pay processing and handling)…
I’m with you, Sally: only difference would be that I trust the hucksters on those infomercials substantially MORE than this Administration.
Heck, it’s not even close….
Yep, exactly. The hucksters actually gave you something for your money.
Amen, sister. Amen….
The People DID NOT ELECT the FRAUD&Thief who goes by the
NAME Barack Hussien Obama
(NOT his LEGAL name)
Voter Fraud& Election Tampering
gave us Obama-
McCain knew about the FRAUD in 2008
,but he thought giving up the PRESIDENCY
would SAVE the NATION a lot of HEARTACHE-
& George Soros gave McCain incentive,a PAID Position on the BOARD- Ohio-Pennsylvania-Florida&Indiana DNC CROOKS that counted 120% turnout with EVERY SINGLE VOTE supposedly going 2 BO, gave us Obama-
And yet…..here we are.
Indeed: here we are.
Although voter fraud WAS unquestionably a contributing factor in his reelection, there were far too many supposedly intelligent citizens who pulled the lever for Barack, as well.
It’s because of them, as well as conservatives who chose to sit home and pout, that we have this now-record-setting disaster in the Oval Office.
Thanks for being here, and taking the time to comment, FL. After following you on Twitter for so long, it’s a pleasure to see you here!
😀
It’s interesting that eveything is hitting the fan just now. Maybe it’s just part of being a 2nd term prez.
I’m just so glad this stuff is coming out. Of course there’s so much more…but I’ll take what I can get. With at least some of the media actually reporting these scandals and abuse of power, SOME of the low information people will hear it.
(JTR, thanks for being the conduit for TeachX3 to visit my blog. I really never knew that blogging could be so socially rewarding.)
You’re entirely welcome, tannngl.
You both share an optimism and spirit that I find refreshing. Glad I was able to help you locate each other!
😀
MEMO: All lower level staffers in all departments of the executive branch will now be required to bring to work and have on their person their swords at all times. The administration feels that this will make falling on them more convenient and quick should it be necessary for you to do so if so notified..
EXACTLY!
The sign on Obama’s desk reads: The buck NEVER stops here.

So very true! I’m tired of his claims of ” I didn’t know” also.sets face it, that’s just as bad, not to mention so obviously lie! He thinks we’re idiots then again he has yet to be held accountable for anything. He and his admin need to go!!!!
I couldn’t agree with you more, Janice!
😀
Thanks for taking the time to stop by and comment.
Hope to see you back soon…
