Politics-free day (aka “Laughter is the Best Medicine”)

Wow, it’s been a long week.

The advice I gave these past few days, several times in fact, was that after a week like that, you need to take a day (at LEAST a day) and relax. Unwind. Recharge. Play with the kids. Go to church. Enjoy your family.

And laugh.

There is no better medicine than laughter.

So with that in mind, no politics today. We’ll be back at it next week, I assure you…but not today. However, I do have a couple of things I’ve been saving…

The 1st one is of Kevin Spacey, demonstrating a VERY impressive skill which I had no idea he possessed. The 2nd one is from the old show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?’, and it’s one of my favorite clips.

Hope they each help you smile today.

  1. Thanks JTR, I needed that. I was surprised at Kevin’s ability, very good. I always loved Who’s Line and I hate to say this but…one of my favorite skits was with Richard Simmons.

  2. Reblogged this on Phoebe's Detention Room and commented:

  3. You nailed it, JTR. REGARDLESS of what’s going on around us, we should NEVER lose sight of the manifold blessings bestowed upon us by our Lord, and give daily thanks and praise for friends, family, and our faith. For me, I refuse to let ANY person, regardless of their position, take THAT away from me…..

    Dios bendiga a usted y su familia…..

  4. Thanks. I needed that. And the humorous vids too!

  5. Great clips. Who knew Spacey did Carson? The ones that still get me are the Abott and Costello ones.

    • Used to watch Abbott & Costello every Sunday morning, after mass. They were classics, every one of ’em.

The two vids I included today were just ones I figured very few people had seen….and because they each made me laugh out loud.

      Glad you enjoyed them bullright!

  6. Very funny! Thanks for the laugh. For some reason the Al Pacino impersonation got me laughing out loud more than anything.
